One word summary

One word summary.

Good summative or closure activity.

1) Have students in small groups (no more than 5 or 6) think of a single word that summarize the lesson.

2) Each student then explain to each other why that word summarized their lesson.

3) The group then tries and place the words from the group into a single sentence.

4) Each group then shared their sentence with the class.
